"Get your kicks on Route 66." That's just what we did when my husband and I took several trips on the old Rt. 66. It is a unique look into America's past before everything moved into the fast lane. Signage, road signs, all sorts of old buildings, such as cafe's, garages, roadside motels, various businesses, homes and churches that have fallen by the wayside or have been abandoned offer a unique look into life as it used to be. Our most recent trip confirmed it is going fast. Many landmarks and places we stopped to see on earlier trips are no longer there. These are some of the hundreds and hundreds of shots that I have taken. I hope you enjoy them. I will be updating and changing some of the images from time to time.
All are single matted in a white mat, using archival materials and are ready to frame or set on an easel.
